It is my sincerest prayer and deepest desire that I serve as a conduit for Spirit to speak. I pray that – like the disciple whom the Lord loved – I may recline on the bosom of Jesus (see John 13:23); that I may hear the heart of God; and that I may only speak those things that are from God’s heart. I pray that I will listen deeply, that I will clearly hear in the Spirit, and that I will share in a manner reflective of the depth and kindness of God’s love for us all. I pray that my words “in the name of Jesus” align with what Spirit has revealed and wills for all of creation. I pray that I speak responsibly, remembering that my words have power and that God has anointed me to speak love and healing to nations. I pray that there be a gate over my lips so that only the words God ordains will come from my mouth. I pray that my words are seasoned with salt so that they will preserve life and hope, heal wounds, and relieve the pains of mind, heart and spirit. “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, oh Lord, my Strength and my Redeemer” (see Psalm 19:14, KJV).
